No forced poses, no pressure to look or be a certain way. Family photos can and should be fun and relaxed. Simply be yourselves and let me take pictures that authentically capture your family. You’ll have photos that capture you in your element, doing things you love with the people you love.

My guess is that you have tens of thousands of pictures of your kid on your phone (me too!), but virtually none that include you. You likely have few, if any, photos that capture parenting right now.
As the person who is usually behind the camera, this is an excuse to get keepsake photos that you are actually in too!
feel and look like yourself
Forget what you look like and enjoy some sweet time with your family. Rather than pictures of poses that feel awkward and unnatural, have family photos that reflect you and your family genuinely happy and yourselves. We’ll aim to get a few classic family portraits, but focus most of our time on memorializing your family as it is now in your natural, relaxed state.
There's just something so magical in a lot of the photos, like you've captured such genuine feelings and nothing looks forced. I feel like as an adult my son will look at these photos with so much love.

After you reach out, we find a time to connect and talk further. I get to hear more about what you’re envisioning and hoping for and you get an opportunity to ask any questions you might have. Once we’re both certain it’s a good fit to work together, we settle on a date and I send over your proposal to secure your spot.

You hear from me several times before your session date. You’ll get emails that include resources and suggestions on what to do, what to wear, and how to prepare for our time together. I’m also available via phone and email if you have any questions or concerns!

Session time! We meet at your home or a place that is special to you and, simply put, we hang out! I photograph you and your family in your element. We go with the flow, stop for snacks and breaks as needed, and relax into our time together. My favorite part: I usually get to meet a stuffy, learn a new fact about frogs, and see some pretty great dance moves.

You get your photos! 3-5 weeks after the session, I send you your full gallery of images to download or print from my storefront. You get to share them with family and friends, make holidays cards, create albums, and print them to display around your home.

Family photo packages begin at $650, cover a 90 minute session and include all digital photos available for download. You will also have access to my professional lab services for prints, wall art and albums.

Somewhere important to you! For most families, that is in and around their home, but there may be a special place for your family that is not your house. We will work together to figure out the best place for your family.

Whatever you want! I always always always encourage people to wear what makes you most comfortable and I’m equally happy photographing your family in sweats as formalwear. Wearing clothing and hairstyles that feel low maintenance and most YOU are what will show up most authentically in your photos. I send out a guide to help you with this after we book together and am available to chat options as we get closer to your session date. I truly believe there is no need to buy a fancy new outfit for this (though by all means, use it as an excuse if you’d like!).

Yup, mine is too. I still think family photos taken at home are worth it. There are different strategies we can use so that clutter isn’t distracting in your photos, such as sticking to mainly a few tidier areas. I am also intentional about what I’m capturing with my camera to create beautiful photos for you regardless of the location and background. Still have reservations? Let’s chat!

90 minute photo session at your pace and preference
Marion is calm, kind and also good at giving feedback and directions. She has this magical way of capturing the little moments of connection between two people or within a family. She saw things about my family that I wouldn’t have thought to take a picture of, but man am I glad we have them now. Her photos pull out each individual’s personality and cement them in time.
